Portland General Electric: Small-Cap Dividend Gem

Summary Portland General Electric is a well-managed regulated utility company sporting a 4.6% dividend yield and 6% historical dividend growth; coupled with a solid forward power demand and EPS runway. I believe the stock is quite inexpensive on valuation, in part due to being painted with the same risk-on brush as California utilities affected by wildfires. It isn't. Small-cap Portland General appears to offer superior asymmetrical risk - reward, making it a potential investment gem. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Portland General Electric: One Of The Best Buys In The Electric Utility Sector

Summary Wildfire risks are a rising consideration for utility investors. Portland General Electric is attractive due to its proactive wildfire mitigation plan, a strong credit rating, and a 4.6% dividend yield. I believe shares are undervalued by at least 10% at today's prices. PGE's strategic location and low electric rates will drive new growth from data centers and AI, supporting EPS increases of 5-7% per year. Read the full article on Seeking Alpha

Portland General Electric: Bullish AI Data Center Demand Amid Environmental Risks

Summary I have a buy rating on Portland General Electric (POR) due to its attractive valuation and compelling forward yield just shy of 5%. Despite risks from natural disasters and congestion costs, POR's low 13.1x forward P/E ratio and potential for a bounce make it a 'buy the dip' opportunity. POR's Q3 results were strong, with GAAP EPS of $0.90 and revenue of $929 million, driven by industrial load growth and better wholesale power prices. Key risks include natural disasters, congestion costs, rate case uncertainties, and rising market interest rates, but the technical setup suggests a rally to $45. Portland General Electric: Capitalizing On Oregon's Tech Boom

Summary Portland General Electric is well-positioned to benefit from Oregon's growing tech industry, as well as the state's mandate for 100% renewable electricity by 2030. Trading at a significant discount to historical valuations and offering a 4.24% dividend yield, PGE offers an attractive balance of income and growth potential. PGE offers potential for double-digit total returns over the next several years. I maintain a Buy rating with a near-term target of $51–$53 with additional upside by FY26. Portland General Electric: An Attractive Equity Bond As Fed Rates Fall

Summary Portland General Electric offers a 4.2% dividend and has a 6.5% earnings yield, making it quite attractive compared to the 10-year Treasury bond. Trading below its historical P/E average, it presents a potential buying opportunity, especially with anticipated federal interest rate cuts.
